Neil, sounds like you've got straight cuts gears in there - whats the specs of your car?
I trust there wasn't too much bodywork to repair after Milbrook.  Must admit, the Escort's have a very distinctive sound to them!

Fantastic footage!!  Two outings, two shunts...luckily neither appears to have done much damage.  My young son wants to watch again...for the fourth time...we must be doing something right!  Zooommmm...

Thanks for posting Neil,

Just a question. How do you embed the video - I've tried copying the embed codes from youtube but I think I am missing something ???

Here is a little tutorial on how I do this Syd, hope it is a help to you and the rest of the guys.

The link from YouTube needs to be edited for it to work on the forum, there are a few changes that need to be applied.

1. You need to click on the Flash Code icon of the Blah Codes (5th from the right on the bottom row) which gives you this :-

{flash width=200 height=200 url=]

(I have edited the first bracket in these in order to keep the code visible, when you do it it will be a squared bracket)

2. You need to alter the size of the frame.

YouTube is shown in a width of 425 and a height of 344, so you can use these or any factors of these. In the case above I doubled both. Just remember that the larger the size the worse the definition.
You'll end up with a code like this :-

{flash width=425 height=344 url=]

3. Add your url.

This is just cut and paste of video clips url from YouTube. :-

{flash width=425 height=344 url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilRiPx0DoQk]

4. Now you have to edit the url.

The part you need to alter is the " /watch?v= " in the middle of the link.
You have to replace the" ? " and the  " = " with a " / " , you then end up with this:-

{flash width=425 height=344 url=http://www.youtube.com/watch/v/ilRiPx0DoQk]

And you're done.

Hope this helps,
Neil

I moderate another Forum Peter so I have had to learn a few things .

Not done anything about the radiator yet I'm afraid. As with most times when we need to work on our cars, She Who Must Be Obeyed reckons it would be a good time to do redecorate the front room.

Tertius will know what I mean.

Wow, and I thought it was just something obvious that I was missing! I tried it in my Jem thread and it even works! Thanks for the help.

Oh yes Neil...sympathies. I had to go shopping with She Who Must be Obeyed this morning to "just pick up some stuff quickly". 31/2 hours later I am home and the MM project in the garage is missing the planned layers of fibreglass under the bonnet!!
ps Surprised that no further chirping from u re "cutting up a perfectly good MM" as per last time I did that!!
