Sorting out the seat and four point harness mounts today. So i have more questions! Do the lower seat belt mounts (sill & tunnel) have steel reinforcing in them or do i need to put extra spreader plates on the outside? Where is the best place to mount the rear harness straps? (No cage in as yet) The floor seems very flexible and the seat is base mounted, whats the best for reinforcing it? Thanks Alex

No & Yes!
There is no steel in the sill or tunnel so you do need to plate them.
You could take the outer lap mount back to the rear subframe mounts rather than the sill?
With no cage your best bet is to go back to the rear floor or to mount a strut between the (reinforced) rear damper mounts and bolt to that. |
